NEW RELEASES 2025 and 2026

It's been a long time. Last year was so productive. I was recording all the time with my lovely producer, Aeron Z Jones and was getting ready to release the LP we had had so much fun creating together, when the unthinkable happened. He lost his life in a motorbike accident on the 19th September 2025. This, in addition to helping family member's with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, de-railed me for a while. It's taken a long time to surface from the tsunami of grief and chaos left behind. Anyway, eventually, by November 29th, the LP TEXTILE LEMONADE came out, dedicated to Aeron's memory and it's available to buy as a hard copy on Bandcamp,https://robertasmith.bandcamp.com/album/textile-lemonade or to stream from them and all other streaming platforms (but Bandcamp pays writers and artists fairly).

And now this year, I have a new release coming up on May 29th: an EP: HUMDRUM FIVE, that has three re-mixed tracks from my unreleased album "Five". We had a really great time with this; adding harmonies and violin and rhythm. One track is a completely new one: Humdrum and another track (Somebody Else's Child) is an entirely new recording with harmonies and instrumentation and the odd lyric change. I'm really happy with the result and when I play the music, I can only hear the joy we had in the studio. The whole record was mastered by the lovely Kris Gorski at his Audioplanet Studio in Poland https://audioplanet.pl/en/the-studio/ and I am really grateful to him for doing such a wonderful job.

This year feels brighter and, with my family's return to health and the birth of a new baby girl (our seventh grandchild), I'm feeling all bubbly and creative again!
